Are you a 2nd or final year marketing or business student looking for an opportunity to gain relevant work experience? If the answer is yes, then this opportunity is for you., Long Rake Spa are located near Bakewell in the Derbyshire Peak District and they are looking for a new digital marketeer to join the team to expand their business.
 
Long Rake Spa Co Ltd, is the leading supplier of sand, gravel and decorative aggregates in the UK. Established in 1867 the business has witnessed unprecedented growth, by providing the most extensive range of specialist decorative aggregates for a multitude of market sectors.
 
The company primarily supplies B2B with some B2C and has gained considerable market share across a multitude of business sectors, which include, trade, retail, specialist contractors/industrial sector, and e-commerce. The company has three further production sites with its head office function based in Derbyshire also hosting an experienced in-house marketed team that specialises within the various business channels the company operates within.
 
What they are looking for:
 
  • Post/Undergraduate in Marketing or business-related degree (2nd or final year marketing or business student)
  • Analytical with strong reporting skills, an advanced Google Analytics / Adwords user
  • An understanding and experience of implementing e-commerce and digital marketing strategy.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Highly self-motivated
  • Experience using Adobes creative suite (Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop) along with branding and layout design skills. In addition to this, demonstrable experience of digital and print design would be advantageous.
  • The ideal candidate will be detail orientated; a creative thinker who has a starter-finisher approach to their work.
  • Augmented reality experience to enhance the real world with computer-generated perceptual information. Using software, apps, and hardware such as AR glasses, augmented reality overlays digital content onto real-life environments and objects

What you will be doing:

• Develop and manage best practise of digital marketing activities including PPC, SEO, video content, email marketing, report trade against digital spend, provide detailed analysis of key business drivers, and producing actions plans

• Assisting with multi-channel design and artwork to support the Marketing team’s varying projects for clients across sectors.

• Working as part of a close-knit team you will assist with the design, development, and artwork for print, digital, web and social media for a wide and varied client base.

• Have input in the UI/UX design on existing websites and build

• Understanding of key competitors and customer behaviour.

• Social Media content creation and management for the e-commerce sales platform to generate engagement, brand awareness,
likes, shares, and purchases

• Communicate with followers and key repeat customers, with a view to maximising sales or marketing opportunities.

• Monitor and report on e-commerce customer reviews.

• Assist the e-commerce commercial team with website copywriting.

• Stay up to date with digital trends and report opportunities for further investigation.

• Collaborate with the marketing team on other key projects.

• New Product development, product launches

• Market sector analysis

• Show graphics/stand designs/exhibitions
