We are seeking a Research Assistant to aid our team in conducting a scoping review. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with senior researchers to assess the literature's breadth, scope, and characteristics surrounding digital health technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough literature searches across various bibliographic databases
- Help develop and fine-tune search strategies in coordination with the research team
- Screen and select relevant studies based on established inclusion and exclusion guidelines
- Extract and analyse data from chosen studies
- Keep accurate documentation of the review process and ensure data confidentiality
- Attend research team meetings and contribute to discussions
- Writing reports and journal publication
Candidate and Skills Requirements:
Required Qualifications and Experiences:
- Master's degree or current postgraduate studies in a related area (e.g., Computer Science, Psychology, Behaviour Change)
- Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods
- Experience with systematic or scoping reviews and familiarity with bibliographic software
Essential Skills:
- Strong skills in academic writing and critical evaluation
- Exceptional organisational and time management abilities
- High attention to detail and capability to produce quality written reports
- Proficiency in bibliographic databases and reference management tools (e.g., EndNote)
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
Additional Information:
The successful applicant will have the chance to co-author academic articles that arise from the review.

Pay Rate: £16.49 per hour
Working Hours: 20 Hours a week
Length of Contract: 10 weeks
