Job Title:
Admin and Marketing Assistant Required
This is for a large external client based in the city centre of Derby
Job Description:
  • Good organisational and ability to manage their own time effectively
  • Provision of generic administrative support
  • An interest in marketing and promotion working with local organisations
  • Ability to design marketing/ promotional material, with support
  • Ability to work as part of a team and with other teams across the council, such as the marketing and comms team, web team etc.as well as with external voluntary sector partners and employers
  • Confident in communicating with a wide range of stakeholders i.e. with jobseekers at recruitment fairs etc.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Support in the delivery of a range of events and Employment and Skills projects that support employers to recruit the skills they need, from the local unemployed labour market. Key responsibilities include:
    • Set up, support and evaluation of online and face to face events
    • Development and circulation of our Derby Jobs Weekly newsletter utilising Dot Digital – full training given.
    • Reporting and monitoring of success of Derby Jobs Weekly newsletter
    • Update of Employment and Skills section of DCC website, as and when required – working with the Web Team.
    • Support with collation of case studies for the service
Working Hours and Length of Contract:
This will be a full time contract to start Mid  August -w/c 22 August and it will be a rolling contract
37 Hours per week

Rate of Pay:
£9.50 per hour
