The Make/Shift team are looking for friendly individuals to join the team to collect survey data from audiences and participants during the Derbyshire Makes Festival in Heanor.

Derbyshire Makes is an annual, countywide programme celebrating making in all its forms – at the heart of this celebration are six vibrant hub festival days, each one shaped by the character, history and stories unique to that place. Make/Shift is programming the Heanor one-day event.

You will be required to engage with members of the public and collect survey data including demographic and experience data by asking them to fill out a postcard and noting anecdotal feedback.

You must be able to make your own way to the location, the H1 bus regularly runs from Derby to Heanor Market Place.

Candidate and Skills Requirements:

· Punctual and reliable

· Confident in chatting with new people

Other Information:
 
Rate of Pay: £13.37 per hour

Working Hours: 9am – 4pm on Saturday 2nd May 2026

Length of Contract: One day

Start Date: The event will be taking place on Saturday 2nd May 2026, 10.00am - 4.00pm (May Bank Holiday) at Heanor Market Place, you must be available during this time.
