Two students are required to run surveys in different locations across the Peak District on three Saturdays across the summer (exact dates to be determined). This is part of a project to engage visitors with wildfire risks.
The work will involve approaching members of the public, reading a short informed consent statement, asking questions from a pre-designed survey and recording answers. The survey researchers will also collect email addresses for entry into a prize draw, complying with GDPR at all times. You must have personal transport to sites in the Peak District.
Candidate and Skills Requirements:
- Ability to approach and engage in conversation with members of the public
- Understanding of environmental issues
- Understanding of GDPR
- Physical ability to be on foot, outside in different weather conditions, for several hours.
- Experience of running surveys desirable but not essential.

Rate of Pay : £12.98 per hour
Working Hours: Three Saturday afternoons across the summer (exact dates to be determined).
Length of Contract: 3 months
