What you will be doing:
As an Online Content Production Assistant, you will help create and organise digital learning materials for online courses. Working closely with academic staff, learning designers, and other content producers, you will ensure materials are clear, accessible, consistent, and engaging. This role is an excellent opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in digital learning and content creation.
Key Responsibilities
· Build and organise course content in Blackboard Ultra.
· Support the use of AI tools to create learning activities and content.
· Create and edit digital media resources using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator); video editing and basic HTML skills are a bonus.
· Work with academic staff and other content producers to keep online courses consistent and up to date.
Candidate and Skills Requirements:
Essential
- Comfortable using a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) (Blackboard Ultra experience is a plus).
- Willingness to learn and try AI tools.
- Good organisation and attention to detail.
- Able to work collaboratively and follow instructions.
Desirable
- Interest or experience in online learning or education. ·
- Basic graphic design skills (Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Awareness of accessibility and clear presentation of materials.
- Interest in learning new digital tools, including video editing or basic HTML.
Working Hours: 20 hours per week
Length of Contract: 20 weeks
Start Date: 9th March 2026
Rate of pay: Level 4 ( £13.99 per hour )
